Jack.."Story Teller"

You know you want to be able to understand everything your toddler is trying to tell you, but, let's face it...I don't think they always know themselves!

My son Jack is 14 months old.

Today is a rainy day so we are stuck inside with only toys and Tree House to help ease the pain of being cooped up and with the odd helping of Cheerios to keep him from having a complete melt down, I am able to finally at NOON have my first cup of morning coffee..or as I'd like to call it LIQUID LIFE:)

Jack brings me his favorite toys, mostly ones that make noises and light up, while babbling away an array of words he actually knows and other sounds that I call "FILLERS". These fillers are jumbles of consonants and vowels he likes to jibber jabber when he is telling me something.

"Ma maaaaa, gnoof em bloon bloon mig craaa-kerr!" ~This means," Mom I want a cracker."

Jack is very affectionate and gives tons of hugs & kisses throughout the day, but, man does he get frustrated when I don't understand what he is trying to say! He repeats it over and over which quickly leads to a whining and a somewhat aggressive display of aggravation!

BRING ON THE CHEERIO'S!!!!! Thank you Cheerio's:)
