How Interesting...

You know you want to hide under the covers when the phone rings early in the morning...Today I received a phone call at 8am.

I do not like mornings AT ALL but this call was definitely worthy of disrupting my sleep! My informant, (Lets call him Mr.Wonderful), is calling to tell me there has been a product recall of Pillar's meats! He does not have exact details but thankfully the call came early enough to stop my daughter from taking the ham sandwich she had packed for lunch and possibly starting our journey with Listeria!

Heads up people. It appears out province is having a huge issue with providing us with safe meat. First Maple Leaf (Listeria in the machinery)..then Schneider's (Needles found in hot dogs) and now PILLAR'S!!!!! OK....I get the hint! Salad it is...who knows...with this new diet, I just might not have to roll myself to the beach after all! :)
